2023 Weidemann Wheel Loaders 9080

Information

2023 Weidemann Wheel Loaders 9080

Our Heavyweight Class

The 9080 wheel loader was designed for particularly heavy material handling – such as that which occurs permanently on large farms and biogas plants, at silos or with a large number of large bales. Machines of this size class are also ideal for recycling, industrial operations and municipal use. The wheel loader impresses with a particularly spacious and comfortable cab, a colour-oriented operating concept, the ergonomic multifunction joystick, a large digital 7" display and the easy-to-control hydraulic oil volume adjustment via jog dial. Its excellent view of the attachment and the immediate working area is remarkable in this size class. The continuously variable hydrostatic transmission Power Drive 370 (PD 370) achieves high tractive forces and travel speeds. This means that speeds of up to 40 km/h are possible without changing gears. This allows for an extremely comfortable driving style.

Features may include:

30/40 km/h travel speed
  • This enables the machine to be moved from A to B more quickly, saving time and thus increasing productivity.
Loading swing arm damping with automatic function
  • The loading arm damping is electrically activated and enables optimal handling of the machine in rough terrain and during road driving. It is particularly recommended when the machine transports heavy loads in the bucket or on the pallet fork or when moving a heavy attachment at high speed over a long distance. The loading arm damping provides a significant increase in comfort for the driver.
  • The loading arm damping can be completely switched off or switched on permanently. There is also an automatic function. Here, the jog dial is used to set the driving speed, from which the loading arm damping is automatically activated. If the vehicle speed falls below the set speed again, the loading arm damping is also automatically deactivated.
  • The loading arm damping prevents the machine from rocking at high travel speeds. This increases safety for the driver and protects the vehicle components by absorbing shocks.
Power Drive 370: continuously variable hydrostatic transmission
  • The Power Drive 370 is a continuously variable hydrostatic transmission that achieves higher tractive forces and travel speeds than previously developed solutions. This is done while retaining all the advantages of previous travel drives in terms of compactness, energy efficiency and operator comfort. With the Power Drive 370, speeds of up to 40 km/h are possible without shifting gears or changing gears. This allows for a comfortable driving style, as there are no interruptions in traction.
  • The 370 km/h version of the Power Drive 30 transmission offers an increase in thrust. This option is particularly suitable for a variety of power-intensive pusher work.
Flexible trailer operation up to 18 t
  • There are various systems to choose from: automatic towbar (fixed or height-adjustable), K50 ball head towbar, Piton-Fix towbar and CUNA D3 towbar.
  • To ensure that large towing loads can be moved safely, a two-line air brake or a hydraulic trailer brake must be used (note: national regulations must be complied with).
  • The ability to tow a trailer expands the range of applications of the machine and offers more flexibility, as no additional towing vehicle is required.
Control Jog Dial
  • The Jog Dial control element enables various machine parameters and functions to be operated and read out via the display: for example, setting the loading arm damping, reading out the operating hours and machine information or tracking service intervals. The jog dial is easily accessible in the driver's work area.
